Black tie

I cannot believe how quickly third year is going – it feels like I bought my ticket to the Media Ball only yesterday and here we are months later and now it’s been and gone! As a regular contributor the the style section of the university newspaper I jumped at the chance to celebrate student media at the annual Media Ball. It gave me an excuse to bring my beloved bandage dress out of the wardrobe for an evening of wine, jazz and chocolate fountain!!! I’ve also been waiting to try this hairstyle for a long time. For some unknown reason ponytails really intimidate me, but I’m really happy with how this low & loose curly pony looked. I took my inspiration from the goddess that is Blake Lively. I’m going to miss being able to chuck on jeans and trainers for a night out once university is over, but I think I truly am a dress and heels girl at heart!
