Bath

This past weekend has definitely been my favourite Valentines to date. If you’re allergic to this commercially created ‘holiday’ then I apologise for prolonging the mushiness, but the past few days have gotten me all loved up! On Friday Elliot and I ventured to Bath for an incredibly romantic and therapeutic evening in Thermae Spa, the perfect setting to any day of the year, let alone Valentines. With a rooftop heated pool overlooking Bath, various scented steam rooms, and a restaurant in which you’re wearing just your swimsuit and robe, the spa definitely lived up to expectations.

The rest of our time in Bath was spent wandering around the beautifully small city, and despite the unwelcome rain and clouds we managed to see the Royal Crescent – aka my future residence – and Bath Abbey. The next morning we also had a delicious brunch at The Cosy Club, a must-visit for lovers of restaurants with mismatched furniture, branded mugs and guaranteed great food. Thanks to Elliot for the photos!
