Wedding details

I’ll begin by clarifying that this is not my wedding nor am I planning for one (to my boyfriend: do not be afraid). My cousin was recently married and I was of course obsessed with the beautiful details that permeated the day, and that I will definitely use as inspiration in the future! To set the scene, the whole celebration was in a countryside hotel that had been reserved just for the wedding party and guests. It was the perfect romantic backdrop for such a wonderful occasion!

Here are some of my favourite little details from the day.

One of the most important features of all, the cake! Again with the claret and blue colour scheme, and the most detailed cake topper I have ever seen. I can vouch that that is almost an exact replica of the bride’s dress! Incredible!

Dress: Ted Baker | Clutch: Next | Shawl: House of Fraser | Shoes: LK Bennett

And, last but not least, my outfit for the day. I was extremely prepared and bought this dress in Spring because I fell in love with it instantly and couldn’t imagine any dress better well-suited. I paired it with a box clutch, a shawl and my beloved nude LK Bennett pumps. Simple, but effective.
